Hi Guys,

What are some basic initial mods to do on an SL55? Anyone in Houston recommended? BHS?

Let me know what you guys think some initial mods should be and estimated cost.

Which part of town are you at? Our local dealer in Sugar Land will install RennTech upgrades.

I personally recommend buying parts from www.evosport.com and have a local reputable shop install the parts for you.

If you are willing to wait two weeks the new VRP / Motorworks shop is having their grand opening. The shop is AMAZING and its definitely the nicest, highest quality shop I have ever seen in town. its pretty astonishing. You should wait until then and go to VRP / Motorworks. its at 5704 southwest freeway (right next to Nxcess).

They are officially a BavSPEED sponsor, wait till I get them setup on the site, there will also be a special event just for BavSPEED members there as well. Keep an eye out in the announcements forum soon.

Then you can go in there as a BavSPEED member so you can save $.

well sunil is a buddy of mine so no worries there.

Sunil is AMAZING, never met a performance shop owner like him ever. Truly an amazing individual, I would not trust my car with ANYONE else other than him.

I think all of Bavspeed should go to him. what a great guy.

Yes, he is very nice and knowledgable. His shop is very impressive and I think one of the nicest shops in town.

Honestly, A lot of people have gone with renntech and spent stupid amounts of money and barely gotten any decent results (especially their $2600 CF airbox which nets zero HP).

You are much better going of with VRP and AMS Products.

Then dont get the air box, get ECU tune if you want power!
